THE STONE Relay is a new feature of 2025, requiring the course to be completed by a team of 2 or 3 people.

  • For teams of 3 members, each person will complete a different course (swimming, cycling, running).
  • For teams of 2 members, one member will need to complete two courses.

The rules, distances, routes, time gates, and mandatory equipment are identical to those of the “classic” Stone. The differences are as follows:

  • A supporter is not required, as the final 8 km (from the Tonale Pass to the finish line) must be completed by all team members together. The team will be disqualified if they do not cross the finish line at Passo Paradiso as a group.
  • The BIKE course is individual and must be completed by a single team member. The NO-DRAFT rule of “The Stone” applies, even between teammates.
  • A single chip and GPS device will be provided and must be passed between members at the end of each section.
  • All team members must complete the final stretch of the RUN course. Therefore, the mandatory equipment required for The Stone applies to each team member.
  • Each team member will receive a bib, which must be worn until the finish line.

Note: For anything not specified here, all general rules of The Stone apply, including mandatory equipment requirements.

REGISTRATION METHODS AND FEES

Registrations are handled through Endu and remain open until 11:59 PM on April 29, 2025. After this deadline, registrations will no longer be accepted.
The registration fee for The Stone Relay is €150 per section (swimming, cycling, running), for a total of €450 per team.

Please note: Additional service fees for the registration portal will apply.

The registration fee for each member includes:

  • Stone gadget
  • Race bib, sticker kit (for bike, helmet, bags, and support car)
  • Cap, buoy with light device
  • Material bags
  • Meal voucher for dinner at the refuge
  • Voucher for the cable car descent

PRIZES

During the awards ceremony, each “finisher” team will be called on stage to receive their medals (one per team member).

FAILURE TO PARTICIPATE AND SUBSTITUTIONS

  • Registration fees are non-refundable in the event of failure to participate.
  • If a team member is unable to participate, they can be replaced (name change) for a fee of €10. This must be done by 10:00 AM on April 30, 2025.
  • If a replacement cannot be found, the registration can be deferred to the following year for a fee of €10 per section. This option is available until June 8, 2025. In this case, the amount paid will remain valid for the next year.
